Playjar offers a variety of music groups for a wide age range. All activities will develop learning and development in several of the following:

Quacky Quavers (0 to 4 year olds)
Just listening to music is beneficial to babies and younger children. Starting this at a young age will aid their love and enjoyment of music. Therefore, the activities put together are full of singing songs with action songs included and the opportunity to make their own music using percussion instruments and ordinary household objects.
Marvellous Minims (SEN - all ages)
This is aimed at a variety of ages and abilities. These sessions consist of songs and rhymes which include repetition and promote movement.
Cool Crotchets (Primary Schools 5 to 11 year olds)
The activities are in line with the new curriculum of 2014 and have been successfully taught in primary schools. They are based on the following themes: Water Music, Weather and Seasons, Animal Crackers, Haunted House, Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, The Victorians, Machine Music, Britain Since 1930, The Tudors, Journey into Space. Other units of work are also available.
Serenades (Adults)
This is aimed at adults aged 18 to 100+ years. These sessions consist of songs and rhymes which include repetition and promote movement.
